Endo-Surgi Center

The physicians of the Center for Digestive Diseases, P.A. have formed their own outpatient ambulatory endoscopy center. The Endo-Surgi Centers are highly specialized facilities which allow the physicians to perform the highest quality of GI endoscopic outpatient procedures.

Endo-Surgi Center has been established since January 1995 in Union, NJ. It has been certified by Medicare, approved by the State of New Jersey, and accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO), a highly prestigious recognition. Endo-Surgi Center of Old Bridge was established in June 2000, and is Medicare certified and approved by the State of New Jersey. The centers have received high satisfaction reports from anonymous patient surveys.

Patients receive IV conscious sedation, which is administered by an anesthesiologist. Sedation affords the patient a high level of comfort during the procedure and a rather short recovery period. Patients will be monitored before, during, and after their procedures by skilled professional staff.

One of the reasons you may choose the Endo-Surgi Center is its state-of-the-art equipment. The endoscopes and accessories are completely sterilized to the highest standards, and the equipment is routinely biologically tested to validate sterility. The facility and specialized equipment meet the highest required standards.

The professional staff include Board Certified, Gastroenterologists, professional RN's, Anesthesiologists, and competent trained ancillary staff.

The Endo-Surgi Center does charge a facility fee, which is comparable to or less than hospital fees. The fee does not include the professional services of the physician, anesthesiologists, and pathology. This will be discussed with you by the doctor's office prior to the procedure. Insurance companies and Medicare cover most procedures. To assist you, your insurance claim will be filed for you. Following your treatment at the Endo-Surgi Center, you will receive a separate facility fee statement.
