OFFICE HOURS

The office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, evening hours vary according to the day. When you call for an appointment you will be seen as quickly as possible. Each doctor has specific hours available, and the receptionist will explain these to you.


APPOINTMENTS

Our patients are seen by appointment. For acute problems: emergency-same day appointments are available. We make a sincere attempt to adhere to the appointment schedule, but when emergencies arise, they must take precedence and some delays may occur.


EMERGENCIES

A  doctor is available for emergencies at all times. After hours, the answering service will relay calls to the on-call doctor. Please call(908) 688-6565.

During normal business hours (Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.), we are available at (908) 688-6565

If you have any problems or questions between appointments, call us. The receptionist will either handle the call, or refer it to the appropriate staff. The doctor will return your call as time permits and the situation demands. It is not our policy to treat patients over the telephone.


PRESCRIPTIONS

It is not our policy to prescribe new medication over the telephone. Long term medications may be handled over the phone if you remain under our active care, but only during regular office hours. Please call your pharmacist for refills. He/she will call our office and request a refill.


MEDICAL RECORDS

The contents of medical records remain confidential and will be released only upon your written authorization, in accordance with the HIPAA guidelines.

FEES AND INSURANCE

We recognize the need for a clear understanding concerning health care and the financial responsibilities for medical care. Our commitment is to provide the very best health care for our patients while recognizing the need to limit services to only those that are necessary for each patient. Our physicians participate in Medicare and do accept assignment, but any deductible or co. payment is the patient's responsibility. Payment of the fees for services is the direct obligation of the patient. For your convenience, our insurance representatives file your claim for you. Our doctors are in. network with many insurance companies. Out-of-network benefits should be discussed with a billing representative. Our fees reflect the specialized nature of the doctor's training, the individual diagnostic studies performed, and the dedicated time spent with you. The fees are comparable to other similarly trained specialists in the community. You are encouraged to inquire about the fee prior to a service. Please let us know if you are having any particular financial problem. you will find us understanding and cooperative. Extra insurance forms, letters to lawyers, copies of medical records, etc. will necessitate an extra fee because of the paperwork and time involved.
